Enter MEASURED values for supply voltage and load current below.

Step 2:

Enter MEASURED values for Power Factor (cos )

Actual measured Power Factor will provide best accuracy as it significantly impacts ride through time.

If Power Factor is unknown estimate based on the load. For example:

Contactors and relays only - cos = 0.20

Mixed loads estimate or use - cos = 0.75

Power supplies, resistors, lamps - cos = 1.00
